When local business leaders and educators team together--we can make a difference in education!
What is a Business Alliance? it is a collaboration of businesses, community, and school leaders committed to educating each student to be both a responsible and productive citizen who can effectively manage future challenges.
A Business Alliance provides resources through ideas, expertise, and experience to their school through work-based collaboration, community connection, and school-based activities. All of these activities are channeled through the principal to ensure that they are in alignemtn with and supportive of the school's instructional programs.
The MISSION of the Moore Square Museums Magnet Middle School (M2M3) Business Alliance Association is for local business people to form working relationships with students, teachers, parents, and administrators in order to promote and enhance student understanding on the importance of education to their future careers and professions. At the same time, this collaboration develops a sense of purpose and community with their school and the city of Raleigh.
Our VISION is to prepare and challenge the M2M3 students for adult life by providing leadership role models, fostering positive character traits and encouraging respect for others.
The Business Alliance ROLE is to cultivate an Alliance membership of a diverse group of energetic leaders from businesses, government, education and the arts. The active Alliance committees’ produce a range of mentoring, career/trade fairs, leadership and recognition programs throughout the school year. The Business Alliance provides a variety of work-based and school-based learning opportunities, such as:

The Business Alliance is always looking for new partners to participate in achieving our mission and fulfilling our vision for the students of Moore Square Museums Magnet Middle School. It is good to remember that parents are the number one influence in student career decision-making! Yet through partnerships with businesses and educational representatives, students have a wider exposure to explore many career options and design and create their own plan for the future of their career.
Members commit to the mission of the Business Alliance, attend meetings regularly, and provide ongoing support for the goals and objectives in the Business Aliance Strategic Plan.
