Moore Square Museums Magnet Middle School

The First Quarter Honor Roll Breakfast will be on Wednesday, October 28 at 8:00 am in the cafeteria.   Parents and guardians are encouraged to arrive early. 

The Student Government is sponsoring a Halloween dance from 6-8 pm on Thursday, October 29.  Tickets are $2.00 and must be purchased in advance.  Students must have a signed permission slip in order to purhcase a ticket.  CPR teachers will hand out permission slips on Monday and tickets will be on sale during lunches on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. 

We are partnering with the YWCA to offer study circles, a community forum to discuss social justice, race, and student achievement.    A group comprised of school staff and parents will meet for six two-hour sessions beginning on November 2.  This group will be led by two Moore Square parents who are trained facilitators.  If you are interested in joining or would like more information, please email .  

Our First Semester Gallery Walk will be held on Friday, November 6.  This event will feature a display of student projects and the Book Fair.  Please join from us from 5 pm to 7 pm. 

The Magnet Schools Information Fair will be held on Saturday, November 7 from 10 am to 1 pm at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School.  We are seeking volunteers who can help promote our program and answer questions from prospective parents.  Please contact Joan Certa-Moore at 856-8195 for more information.
