About Us

Moore Square GT/AIG Basics Magnet Middle School sits in the heart of downtown Raleigh and offers students a dynamic, well-rounded learning experience. Each day, students take three elective classes- from Chinese and Orchestra to Modern Dance- giving them the opportunity to explore their interests and discover their unique gifts and talents.

Our teachers are specially trained to support gifted learners, creating challenging and engaging lessons that push students to think deeply and stay excited about learning. Walk through our halls and you’ll find students eager to participate in activities designed to inspire curiosity and creativity.

With about 600 students, Moore Square is a close-knit community where staff and students know each other by name. Our small size allows us to build strong relationships with families and provide personalized support so every student can thrive.
